In my junior year of college, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Suddenly, my childhood symptoms made sense. Aware of the detrimental effects of ADHD medication, I discovered neurofeedback therapy, an effective yet low-risk alternative. Unfortunately, it is clinic-based, pricey, and requires frequent visits. Inspired by my experience, I founded Captavate to transform neurofeedback therapy into an EEG headset that anyone can use at home to improve focus, performance, and manage their ADHD symptoms.
