Our Mission
We are the first active focus aid for people with ADHD. We started as a Capstone design team with an idea. Our school project, based on our CEO Abyssinia's experience in neurofeedback therapy, developed into the CaptaEEG, an EEG headset that improves on traditional neurofeedback therapy while also increasing day-to-day productivity.

Abyssinia Bizuneh, CEO & Founder
Aby is Captavate's CEO and founder. She oversees the technical development of Captavate and CaptaEEG. She is a biomedical engineer with a background in engineering management, with strong technical expertise in MATLAB.

Michael Li, Co-Founder & Product Developer
Michael is an experienced entrepreneur and engineer who specializes in product development. He has raised over $40k in funding for his concurrent venture, Arceate Health, and conducted experimental research in Uganda and Ghana to evaluate the need and effectiveness of his product.
Benjamin Voller-Brown, Product Designer
Ben, a seasoned mechanical design engineer with a distinguished background at NASA, excels in pioneering new product development and optimizing design for manufacturing efficiency. In his venture at Arceate Health with Michael, he creates transformative products for developing nations, combining technical skill with a humanitarian approach
Alec Roadarmel, Product Developer
Alec is a product developer with a focus on hardware. He is a biomedical engineer with a background in biomedical devices, with expertise in signals and systems, hardware, and software development.
